MTE LAUNCHES A NEW BED TYPE MILLING MACHINE, KTR

Combining the fixed table and in-built rotary table machines, MTE developed a new bed type machine with both capabilities in one. The possibility of machining big size parts on a fixed table and the versatility provided by an in-built full axe indexing table, makes the KTR a solution for numberless applications. Available with AFK and recently released SFK milling heads. Its main spindle supplies 32kW (40kW optionally).

That machine will be at the AMB show in Stuttgart with the following configuration:

  • Longitudinal traverse X 4000mm
  • Cross traverse Y 1500mm
  • Vertical traverse Z 2000mm
  • Main spindle 32kW
  • SFK milling head
  • Horizontal/vertical automatic tool changer with 60 pockets
  • Fully closed careenage
